Before you start, gather these essentials:

  • 1½” to 2” curling iron

  • Lightweight heat protectant

  • Volumizing spray or mousse

  • Creaseless clips

  • Boar bristle brush

  • Finishing serum or shine mist

Step 1: Start with Clean, Dry Hair

Make sure your natural hair is clean and prepped with a heat protectant and completely dried.

Step 2: Fake a Roller Set (Without the Rollers!)
